Gears of War 3, Multiplayer Beta

Here are some things that were revealed by platformnation.com about the Gears of War 3 Multiplayer Beta:



There are four maps to play on, there are unlockables for the full game, three game modes to play, getting experience from doing almost anything (so you can level up and get cool stuff!), medals unlocked by doing different goals and... it's lag free, because of dedicated servers. These are awesome features!



Here is how to get some of the unlockables:


• Cole Train (playable character) : Play 50 matches in Beta to unlock him, then Play 10 matches as him to unlock Cole for the full game.
• Golden Retro Lancer : Play 90 matches to unlock it, get 100 kills with it to unlock it for the full game

Infamous 2, Trailer

Infamous came out a while back for the PS3 and amazed loads of people that played it. Most people that played it agreed that it was awesome; unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to play it as of yet. I might go ahead and buy it some day and then review it or something.

Infamous 2, Beta has been extended because of PSN outage

The beta for Infamous 2, the sequel to the awesome game Infamous, has been extended. This is because of PSN's outage. The beta is of the create-a-world mode on PS3, which is usually something hard to make on consoles. Most editors like that are far better on PC, however, this company wants to challenge that.



When PSN comes back online, those select few that are able to playtest it will be given an extra amount of time to playtest. For now, however, we'll just have to wait and see what amount of time will be added to the beta of this awesome looking game!

Gears of War 3 Beta, starts today

Gears of War 3's Beta was announced a while back; people were able to buy Bulletstorm Epic Edition to get a key or win a key from multiple other sources. Now, the beta is finally going to be starting on the same day that Portal 2 is released. I wonder which one people will choose to play?


Gears of War 3's beta can be accessed by everyone who pre-ordered the game, but not just yet; they won't be able to access it until next Monday, on April 25th.Gears of War 3 has three different game modes and four different maps. All of the game modes are multiplayer, since the entire beta is just a multiplayer beta.




Team Deathmatch: Just a normal deathmatch game, killing each other; you'll be on a team and fight the other team, killing them to get the most kills. The team with the most kills wins.


King of the Hill: Teams have to defend a specific area on the map until a time limit is expired.


Capture the Leader: Capture the enemy's team leader and hold them for a certain amount of time; the team leader can be freed by killing the one that captured the leader.







The four maps are called Thrashball, Trenches, Oldtown and Checkout. I've made two other blog posts on these maps.

Gears of War 3 will be released September, 2011 (North America).

Gears of War 3 Beta, win a FREE beta key

I have searched around the internet for ways to get a beta key for Gears of War 3; there is the option of buying the Bulletstorm Epic Edition, or you can simply win it for FREE from one of these contests. There is no reason to buy stuff, unless you can afford it; you are guaranteed to get a beta key if you buy Bulletstorm Epic Edition, but not if you enter a contest.

The Sims Medieval, tv commercial

The Sims Medieval is a whole new game in the Sims series; no, it's not another expansion to the Sims 3 or any other Sims game. It is all on its own in the world, hopefully there to create a whole new piece of the Sims series, with its own expansions and everything.

I scoured the internet for this trailer after I saw it on television earlier, because I found it hilarious and ironic (which probably caused the hilarity). Anyway, go ahead and watch this awesome looking new game's trailer!

Gears of War 3 Beta, Unlockables

Gears of War 3 has a Beta that is going on soon, and you can get the beta by buying Bulletstorm Epic Edition. There are multiple things which you can unlock by playing the beta. Here is a list of the things:




• Flaming Hammerburst: Play and finish a match by April 24th
• Flaming Lancer: Play and finish a match during the week of April 25th
• Flaming Sawed-Off Shotgun: Play and finish a match during the week of May 2nd
• Flaming Gnasher: Shotgun: Play and finish a match during the week of May 9th
• Thrashball Cole: play 50 matches and unlock the character for beta, then play ten matches to unlock Thrashball Cole for the full version.

Gears of War 3 Beta maps: part 2

Here is the second part of the beta maps for Gears of War; these will tell you two more of the maps that will be coming in the beta soon:

Trashball:

There is a humongous scoreboard here that you can shoot and knock down; it will damage any nearby enemies or friendlies!








Trenches:

This is a wide open map which is good for sniping; players standing still for too long may find themselves easy prey for the people on higher ground.

The names of the maps in the Gears of War 3 Beta have been released; they are as follows:




  




Old Town:

An old town, like the name; this place is a nice little village that it looks like people could live in. However, this village is actually a war zone!





Checkout:

An old grocery store; there are a bunch of old things lying around that were in the store before everything happened.
