Driver: San Francisco, Coming August 30th

Driver: San Francisco is coming August 30th, 2011. The older Driver games are what really shaped some of the ways modern driving games have went - open world and awesome. Grand Theft Auto 3 came out a bit later and redid that old formula of Driver - adding in people, guns and basically everything that isn't a car, as well.

While Driver may not be very influential anymore, it still holds a great place in history and in my memory as a great series.

Red Faction movie debuts on SyFy on June 4

Red Faction is getting the movie treatment, but some people wonder if this movie will be any good. The video-game-based movie is going to be about an ex-soldier that has gone through an entire war and survived, but not without huge personal losses to bear for the rest of his life.

He was married and had a daughter; his wife died during the war and his daughter was kidnapped. For unmentioned reasons, he rejoins the army and realizes that his own daughter is leading the anti-Red Faction military that is sparking a civil war on Mars!



I am looking forward to this movie - not because it's a video game, or because it's a game that I like - I love movies on the SyFy channel! I have yet to see a movie on that channel that is actually bad in any way. I hope for the best in this movie! June 4th is the debut, remember!

Burnout 6 coming soon, and takes place in new city: Crash City!

Burnout is a series that has been ongoing for many years now; it has gone through many different sequels and things before it has gotten to where it is today. The funnest thing about any of these games is the crash mode; your entire goal is to crash cars to cause as much damage as possible! I remember back when my brothers and I would compete to see who could get the most damage on the traffic.



The damage isn't done in a bad way; there aren't any gruesome dead bodies flying out of cars or anything; instead, there are simply cars that look like they might have someone in them (because they're driving), but in reality they're just cars. Burnout 3 is the game my brothers and I played, I believe; this one was released many years ago, but it can still be really fun today!

Burnout Paradise was the last Burnout to be released; it was apparently some sort of open world video game, but I haven't played it. I hope it's fun, because I might be getting it at some point in the future. Does anyone recommend that I get it?

The Mass Effect series developed over time

Mass Effect captured me a few years back when I played the first game on the Xbox 360. I though it was one of the most amazing masterpieces ever! I remember playing through every single random planet I came across that was able to be landed on; when I look back at it now, I think that if it were to be released in the current day that it would be met with heavy opposition, but for its time it was amazing!

I beat that game and eventually sold it at some time that I don't remember. A few years later, I had Steam; this is an online service that sells games on computers (Windows and Mac). I saw Mass Effect was on sale, so I decided to buy it again. I played it again, and had the same wonderful experience as I had the first time! I waited a few months and saw Mass Effect 2 was coming in a few months, so I replayed the game once more, and once again had that amazing experience!

When it was about one month before the release of Mass Effect 2, I had already forgotten a lot of the smaller story pieces in Mass Effect, and that is bad for this series; whatever choices you made in Mass Effect get carried over to Mass Effect 2! So if someone is dead in my play-through of Mass Effect, then they're dead in Mass Effect 2 as well! This can change the game a lot. So I replayed Mass Effect again, loving it like each time before!

I realized that I'd not done some stuff right in this final playthrough, though; so, I quickly replayed Mass Effect again. These two final play throughs took me about 100 hours, together! It was awesome the entire time!





Finally I had gotten Mass Effect 2 and began to play it; I was amazed the entire way through! I was so blown away by the exciting and awesome ways my playthrough changed things - the awesome fighting - the awesome missions in the game. There were no recycled locations, like in Dragon Age II; it was all new over and over! It was called the 'Avatar of video games,' by some critic I remember.





Now, I look forward to Mass Effect 3 and its amazing addition into this amazing series! I can't wait. :D

If you buy SOCOM 4, you get the beta for Resistance 3! This is the soonest you'll be able to play Resistance 3, because it doesn't come out until September.

Twisted Metal - PREVIEW

The next Twisted Metal game is coming later this year, October 4th to be precise. I don't remember if I've played a past Twisted Metal game, but this one looks awesome! Car games are pretty cool :D

Portal 2 - Cave Johnson! - Turrets - PREVIEW

Portal 2 is coming April 19th, and I can't wait! I've already preordered it with my brother, so we can get 20% off each (buying it on Steam allows you to get 10% off, but if you buy the two pack, you get 20% per game!)
