Portal only had a single player mode with a short, but awesome campaign; Portal 2 has a single player campaign with double the length (about 8 hours) and a multiplayer campaign with about double that length (about 8 hours). God of War 4, Coming in September, 2012?

God of War III
God of War 4 is rumored to be coming out in Fall of next year; according to GameSpot, Sony is said to be releasing it this Fall. God of War 3 sold 1,000,000 copies very quickly, and so it would make sense that they would want to continue this very profitable series.

I'm just wondering if people will be wanting to play it; the reason people played God of War 3 was because it was the end of the God of War series, or at least the end of the current storyline. They have stated that they wanted to do more games in the same universe; but, will that mean we won't have the same characters, anymore?

Portal, Excluding Steam sales - sells 4,000,000 copies

This is what the room below looks like after many years
Portal, the game that was originally released in the Orange Box in 2007, has sold over four million copies at retail alone; this means, not including the high amounts of sales on the digital distribution program, Steam. There are probably millions more copies that were sold on Steam that were sold at retail.

Portal 2 was just released yesterday, and there's no doubt that the sales numbers on it are as high, if not higher than Portal. Portal 2 is an awesome game; I couldn't stop playing it when I played it yesterday. I went ahead and reviewed the first of the two campaigns included with Portal 2 - you can read it HERE.



Beginning of Portal 2 - Yet many years before actual gameplay
I hope that Portal gets another installment in the series within the next few years; Portal 2 was worth every bit of hype surrounding its release, unlike many other games released in the past few years. Dragon Age II was far lower quality than the hype surrounding it led everyone to believe; DA2 wasn't the worst game ever, but it definitely will not be in a group of games that people will remember, forever.

Portal 2, GlaDos' new credits song 'Want You Gone'

GlaDos awesome song 'Still Alive' from Portal amazed almost everyone that played the original game; now, GlaDos is going to be singing an amazing new song called 'Want You Gone.' This song was written by Johnathan Coultan - he was the same person that wrote 'Still Alive.'



I really like the new song; I think that Portal 2 was worth every last bit of hype surrounding its release, and I'm sure that most people will agree. Portal 2 is the only proper sequel in the past few years; Dragon Age 2 sucked and wasn't worth any hype at all, and that is probably the biggest example of a fail.

Portal 2, Single Player Campaign Review 5.0/5.0

Overview: Portal 2 is one of the most amazing and memorable games I have ever played in my life. Portal just seems like one small puzzle compared to this amazing and humongous game, Portal 2. There is deception in the air; lies are being passed around. Who should you really trust? Who is really evil?



Characters: The new single-player campaign introduced us to many new characters, including Wheatley, Cave Johnson and a few other small ones. GlaDos makes a return during the campaign as your main opposition; however, there's something going on that Chell, the player character from Portal and Portal 2, doesn't realize. The characters are all hilarious and will make you laugh the whole way through, while always feeling like there is still a serious story.






Graphics: The new graphical effects in Portal 2 really make Aperture's labs come alive; the way the destruction of things looks is just phenomenal and the way it's all rebuilt almost instantly in some instances is very cool. The game has tons of destruction taking place, because of what is happening in the story.







Finalé: The only thing that I wanted after playing this game was to know what happens next! Valve did really well at making sure to wrap up any loose ends, but I want to know how they could possibly continue after this point, unless they change the characters involved.








Final Thoughts: I guess I might see what happens when I play the Coop campaign, next. The Coop campaign takes place AFTER the single player campaign; you will notice this if you beat the single player campaign.

Portal 2, Was on Schedule and Released on Time

I'm about to start playing Portal 2, the long awaited sequel to an amazing game with the best characters on the planet: GlaDos, Companion Cube, Chell... and now Wheatley, Cave Johnson and the guy who said the cake is a lie!

Now, I can't wait to start, but my game is still activating; I'll just have to wait a few more minutes. My brother has already started playing the game, and I'm sure that he's having tons of fun with it already! Are you playing Portal 2? Or maybe waiting until the price goes down? Because we all know the price will go down quickly, like always...

Anyway, the full game has activated on Steam and I'm going away to play it for the rest of eternity; hopefully I don't die in Android Hell! Play Portal if you don't get it...
